Welcome to Empowered Minds Assessment and Academic Coaching! I am a California-licensed Psychologist and I provide a variety of services for people age 16 and up. These include assessments for Learning Disabilities and ADHD, working with students and families to develop personalized learning strategies, and coaching services that lead to academic and career success. I have 30 years of experience helping college students with learning disabilities and ADHD to succeed and pursue their dreams. Let's discover what we can accomplish together.
Services
I partner with you to help provide strategies for organization, learning strategies, and academic success. I provide assessments for ADHD and Learning Disabilities for people aged 16 and up.
Academic Coaching
I bring 30 years of experience working with high school and college students with learning differences and ADHD to my work with you. I enjoy helping students develop executive functioning skills, such as organization, time management, and task initiation, skills that will help you succeed in school and life. We will work on strategies for reading, note-taking, and working more efficiently and effectively.
College and Career Coaching
I provide college and career coaching for teens (age 16+) and adults. I enjoy assisting students with college applications and essays. Maybe you need help deciding on a major or a career. Career Coaching will assist and support you with setting goals, changing careers, updating resumes, and preparing for interviews. I want to help you reach your dreams!
Learning Disability and ADHD Assessments
I am a California-licensed Psychologist providing assessments for ADHD or Learning Disabilities. We will start with an Intake to decide which assessment is best for you. Assessments are about five hours in total, and about 2-3 of these hours must be in person (within 100 miles of South Lake Tahoe). We will use your assessment results to determine the best learning strategies and approaches for you.

Rates shown are per one-hour session. Assessment for Learning Disabilities or ADHD requires five sessions to complete a full assessment.

Hello, my name is Beth Marinelli, I am a licensed Psychologist based in South Lake Tahoe, California. I provide tools and support for students and the families who support them.
Sessions are offered both in-person and online for maximum flexibility.
